WHAT GAS DO I NEED FOR SKOTTI?
A standard EN 417 screw-in canister. The same as you'd use with your tramping stove! You can find them in your local outdoor store.
HOW LONG DOES A STANDARD GAS CANISTER LAST?
Depending on the season and temperature fluctuations, a standard screw-in canister containing 230 grams of gas lasts for about 2-3 hours, while a 450 gram canister will last around 4-6 hours of grilling. Perfect for a day trip out in the wilderness!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET UP? AND DO I NEED ANY TOOLS?
The grill has an easy plug-in system and only takes 1 minute to set up. You don’t need any tools!
CAN I USE CHARCOAL OR WOOD WITH SKOTTI?
Yes! While the SKOTTI Grill excels as a gas grill, it can easily be used with charcoal or wood. For that, simply leave out the burner pipe and radiation plate, fill the bottom of the grill with some dirt or sand and fill it up with charcoal or wood.
HOW SOON CAN I PACK SKOTTI AWAY AGAIN AFTER I'M FINISHED USING IT?
Skotti is made entirely of stainless steel and cools down completely in a maximum of 20 minutes. Then it can be packed back into the product’s own bag.
HOW DO I CLEAN SKOTTI?
Any marinade that is burnt on can easily be removed with normal soap pads. For even easier cleanup, throw Skotti (and its bag!) in the dishwasher. Simple!
